Jim “Bullwinkle” Costlow
Roberta . . . Jim “Bullwinkle” Costlow died Saturday, July 14, 2012. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, July 16, 2012, at New Providence Baptist Church with burial in Monroe Memorial Gardens. The Reverend Brian Moore will officiate. The family will greet friends from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m., Sunday, July 15, 2012, at Monroe County Memorial Chapel.
Jim was born January 25, 1961, in Dublin, Georgia. His father, Burton Wilson preceded him in death. He retired from the Georgia Army National Guard after twenty years of service. Jim was employed with the Georgia Forestry Commission as a forest ranger, was a member of the Moose Club, a member of Sinclair Bass Club and also owner and operator of B&R Services Unlimited, Inc.
Survivors include his companion, Rose Longmire Satterfield of Roberta, son, Michael Costlow of Bolingbroke, mother, Ann Wilson of Forsyth, grandson, Hunter Wade Costlow, brothers, Sam Wilson of Forsyth and David Wilson of Macon, grandmother, Lola Husley of Gainesville, Georgia.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to Wounded Warrior Project, PO Box 758517, Topeka, Kansas 66675.
Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
