June Janette Eaves High Falls . . . June Janette Eaves died Saturday, April 7, 2012. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 11, 2012, at Monroe County Memorial Chapel. Burial will be private. Pastor Ryan Adcock and Reverend Aaron White will officiate. The family will greet friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 10, 2012, at Monroe County Memorial Chapel. Ms. Eaves, the daughter of the late JA Woods and Frankie Ila Mae Gaines Conrad was born April 5, 1933, in Brownwood Texas. Her daughters, Ila Virginia Barnes and Heather Jarretta Khatibi preceded her in death. She was retired from the Monroe County Extension Service. Mrs. Eaves was the first female bus driver in Georgia, employed with Thomas County, Georgia from 1968 to 1969, she was director of Circle of Care for twelve years, was actively involved with the 4H and was a member of Faith Family Church in Flovilla. Survivors include her children, Pamela (Ken) Reynolds of Jackson, Harriet (Keith) Hanson of Jackson, Harold (Evelyn) Eaves of Utah, Donna (Tom) White of South Carolina, Chris (Denise) Jackson of Jackson and Kelly Dunn (Steve) Cosby of Jackson, brothers, Jerry Woods of California and Clifford (Anita) Conrad of Texas, twenty-five grandchildren, twenty-nine great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to the Circle of Care, 52 W Adams Street, Forsyth, GA 31029. Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
