Fay Frances Peters Pitts Forsyth . . . Fay Frances Peters Pitts died Tuesday, April 3, 2012. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, April 6, 2012,at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church with burial in Monroe Memorial Gardens. The Reverend Liza Marler will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Mrs. Pitts, the daughter of the late Austin Coye and Joeneal Porterfield Peters was born November 2, 1933, in Lenox, Georgia. Her husband, Hugh Harold Pitts preceded her in death. She was retired from the Bank of America and was a member of Mt. Zion United Methodist Church. Survivors include her children, Deborah Stevens of Atlanta, Terry Lee McClay of Forsyth and Robin Elaine Laroque of New Mexico, sister, Betty Joe Green of Forsyth, four grandchildren and four great grandchildren. The family requests no flowers but suggests donations to Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, PO Box 261, Smarr, GA 31086. Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
