Charles Edwin Lundy Otto, North Carolina . . . Charles Edwin Lundy died Thursday, March 1, 2012. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, March 3, 2012, at Monroe County Memorial Chapel with burial in Forsyth City Cemetery. Reverend Duane Corle will officiate. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at Monroe County Memorial Chapel. Mr. Lundy, the son of the late Melvin Davis Lundy, Sr. and Annie Mary Hitchcock Lundy was born October 24, 1932, in Macon, Georgia. His brothers, Robert Randolph Lundy, Olin Harold Lundy and Larry Phillip Lundy preceded him in death. He was a retired automobile salesman. Survivors include his children, Timothy Lundy of Otto, North Carolina, Jonathan Lundy of Foley, Alabama, and Angela Lundy of Otto, North Carolina, sister, Patricia Ann Lundy of Kennesaw, Georgia, brother, Melvin Davis Lundy, Jr. of Lancaster, Pennsylvania and Willie “Buddy” Lundy of Macon, Georgia, three grandchildren and one great grandchild. The family requests no flowers but suggests donations to the American Cancer Society, Monroe County Unit, 804 Cherry Street, Macon, GA 31201. Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
