Norma Joyce Orr Forsyth . . . Norma Joyce Orr died Tuesday, February 21, 2012. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, February 24, 2012, at Second Baptist Church with burial in High Falls Baptist Church Cemetery. The Reverend Danny Parker will officiate. The family will greet friends from 6 until 8 p.m., Thursday, February 23, 2012, at Monroe County Memorial Chapel. Mrs. Orr, the daughter of the late Ralph Auburn Hornsby, Sr. and Bessie Kate Emory Hornsby was born May 10, 1933, in East Point, Georgia. Her husband, Reverend Ernest Henley Orr preceded her in death. She was a homemaker and was very active with her husband with the Truck Stop Ministries. Survivors include her children, Kathy (Gerald) Pippin of Forsyth and Terry Orr of Forsyth, sister, Carolyn Cabe of Griffin, brother-in-law, Willard Smith of Christian City, three grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
