Teresa Lynn Cardona Forsyth . . . Teresa Lynn Cardona died Friday, February 17, 2012. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, February 19, 2012, at Forsyth United Methodist Church. The Reverend Ken Stephens will officiate. Burial will be private. The family will greet friends from 3 until 5 p.m., Saturday, February 18, 2012, at Monroe County Memorial Chapel. Mrs. Cardona, the daughter of the late James Ralph Mitchell, Sr. and Barbara Jeanette Marshall Mitchell, was born June 15, 1960, in Atlanta, Georgia. She was a homemaker and a member of Forsyth Untied Methodist Church. Survivors include her husband, Juan Cardona of Forsyth, children, Lawana Castillo of Forsyth, Robert Lee (Calicia) Melton, Jr. of McDonough, Juan Cardona, Jr. of Forsyth, Crystal (Jose) Castenaba, Carolyn (Ceaser) Carritos, Barbie (Dirk) Wagy of Palmetto, mother and father in law, Guillermo and Soccorro Cardona sisters, Liz (Phillip) Adamson of Forsyth and Sandra Wright of Forsyth, brother, Jim R. (Angie) Mitchell of Forsyth, eight grandchildren , Avi Hernandez, Aubrey Melton, Dee Chambliss, Fernando Castillo, Jakiyah Melton, Mintoria Castillo, JaMari Melton and Sophia Castillo, many nieces, nephews and one great nephew. Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
