Juliette . . . Walter Cullen Williams died Wednesday,
December 21, 2011. Funeral services will be held at
12:00 p.m., Friday, December 23, 2011, at Juliette Baptist
Church with burial in Monroe Hills Memorial Gardens.
The Reverend Jay Moore will officiate. The family will
greet friends from 6 until 8 p.m., Thursday, December 22,
2011, at Monroe County Memorial Chapel.
Mr. Williams, the son of the late Dan Fremont Williams and
Susie Mae Lunsford Williams was born October 2, 1920, in
Forsyth, Georgia. His wife, Bertie Mae Cochran Williams
and his grandson, Raymon Williams preceded him in
death. He was retired from Warner Robins Air Force Base.
Mr. Williams was a veteran of the United States Army
having served during World War II, where he was awarded
a Bronze Star. He was a member and deacon of Juliette
Baptist Church.
Survivors include his children, Charlie D. (Elvia) Williams
of Savannah and Darnell (Mike) Hunnicutt of Juliette,
brother, Carlton (Nellie Ruth) Williams of Jackson, aunt,
Ileen Pippin of Forsyth, five grandchildren and five great
grandchildren.
Flowers will be accepted or the family suggests donations
to donor’s favorite charity.

Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of
arrangements.
