Billy Dean Daniels, Jr.

Billy Dean Daniels, 47, went to be with the Lord July 22, 2022.

He is survived by his wife Brooke and their shared children Austin, Savannah, Angela, and Trey. He is the son of Cheryl Jean Childs and Billy Dean Daniels Sr., and along with Donna Sue Daniels, raised him and his siblings Deana Paige Daniels, Brenda Sue (Paul) Hollingsworth, Jonathan Brewer (Christy) Daniels, and Christopher Joseph (Courtney) Daniels. 

Billy's 1st love was his wife and their children. Coming in a close 2nd his 454SS.  He also loved the Georgia Bulldogs, as evidenced pulling in his driveway when you pass by the oversized Bulldog mailbox. He was very involved in racing of all kinds: Go Karts, NASCAR, the truck series and drag. Billy loved backyard bonfires and loud music after a long, hard day’s work outside. Billy always had a project to work on and he worked best in bedroom slippers.

Billy is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents David Jack Childs and Mildred Stewart Childs of Forsyth GA and paternal grandparents William Henry Daniels and Berta Ouida Daniels of Arlington GA.

Funeral services will be held on Monday July 25, 2022, at 3:00 pm with visitation one hour prior at Monroe County Memorial Chapel.  Graveside service to follow at Forsyth City Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations in Billy's honor to the Colorectal Cancer Alliance, 1025 Vermont Ave. NW, Suite 1066, Washington, DC 20005.

Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
